The Senior Control Room Operator plays a critical role in overseeing and managing real-time transportation operations. This position requires a high level of situational awareness, proactive problem-solving, and technological proficiency to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and compliance across the company’s fleet network. The role demands strong leadership in crisis situations, sound analytical judgment, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Monitor and analyze live vehicle tracking data (GPS/AVL systems) to ensure on-time performance and route adherence.
Oversee traffic flow, vehicle dispatch, trip schedules, and service levels in real-time.
Identify operational issues proactively (e.g., delays, detours, driver deviations) and implement corrective actions swiftly.
Execute control room protocols during emergencies, including activating contingency plans and liaising with law enforcement or emergency responders.
Document and escalate safety violations, collisions, and security incidents according to company and regulatory procedures.
Maintain real-time digital logs of vehicle movements, incidents, service deviations, and communication.
Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, IT, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in a transport control room, fleet operations, or dispatch environment.
Technical Skills:
○ Proficient in GPS tracking, AVL systems, route optimization tools, and transport management software (e.g., Trapeze, Samsara, Verizon Connect, etc. safe hello, Intangle, IV-cargo).
Upto 25 k in hand + PF+ Mediclaim
Timing – Six days working, one day week off
